Alyssa Sykuta Meester, PharmD, BCCCP

I earned my Doctor of Pharmacy degree in 2019 from Drake University in Des Moines, IA, along with a minor in psychology. From there I completed my PGY1 at the University of Iowa Hospital & Clinics and PGY2 in Critical Care at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA. I have been practicing as a Medical & Cardiac Intensive Care Pharmacist at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus, OH since 2022.

My areas of interest include mechanical circulatory support, shock, and pain, agitation, & delirium. I aspire to maintain a well-rounded career by building my practice on four key pillars: clinical practice, research/quality improvement, teaching, and professional organization involvement.

Outside of pharmacy, I enjoy traveling, crocheting, and spending time with my husband and our pups, Captain and Moose. I am immensely grateful for my family, friends, and mentors for the roles they have played in my personal and professional development.
